Public Breastfeeding

Hmm, I'll have what the baby's having. I'm sitting here at Portland International Airport minding my own business (mostly), sipping my scalding $6 coffee. A recent incident comes to mind where a woman was booted from an airplane for not covering her baby's head while giving him a snack. What reminded me of that story? Glad you asked. I'm sitting 20 feet from a semi-attractive 30-something woman who is feeding her ta-ta to an infant. I typically don't like to stare but when jumblies are the appetizer of the day for junior, its like trying to look away from the scene of an accident. Of course, its been since 3rd grade that I had my last direct from the source meal but it's a natural process, isn't it? I totally support a womans choice to breast feed, but I think it's a little weird to it in public for all to witness. It's almost like she's trying to show off as if to dare somebody to ask her to cover up. I'm having mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I'm thinking "cover up!" and on the other, I'm thinking "hmmm...fresh milk for my double espresso."

That was a pretty good story. Although nice boobs are good to look at I have a feeling if woman were not required to cover up there would be more of the ugly breast hanging out. Kind of like it's never the fine girls wearing the spandex.

I rarely see anyone not covering up anymore, and believe me I'm looking ;)

That reminds me, I need to get some new spandex pants. I tore a hole in the back end of my old pair but didn't find out until I wore them to work backwards by accident last week. I also need to start wearing underwear.
